Gabrielle was once a simple village girl, but when she met Xena, she knew that her destined path in life was beyond the walls of her village and so she left to travel on adventures with Xena. Quickly becoming the Warrior Princess' best friend and soulmate, she was always there, a bond that only grew stronger with time. Over the years, she grew into a warrior just as Xena had, becoming known as the Battling Bard. Now, she continues to travel with Xena, an almost equal match in the field of battle as Xena herself.
