Welcome to the Shipper Seasons, a virtual spin-off of Xena Warrior Princess with a shipper twist! We intend to bring you new episodes of Xena where, for the first time, Xena's relationship with Ares takes center stage. We are a syndicated virtual show, so we try to air episodes at least every few weeks.

A little bit about this project: in April of 2001, several months before Xena ended, a group of online friends decided to get together and start a new virtual season of XWP once the show wrapped up and the credits rolled for the last time. The plan was to have the focus be on Xena and Ares because we were all shippers and felt that their relationship was not finished during the course of the show and we wanted to take their relationship in the direction that it deserved to be taken in. We also felt that Xena and Gabrielle had more adventures to embark upon and that Xena's death in Jappa was not going to be her final stand. Thus, the Shipper Seasons were born and the Xena/Ares relationship was destined to continue on.

So, for those die-hard shipper fans out there who feel that Xena and Ares were meant for one another and that Xena still had more lives to live despite the way the show ended then this site is just for you! The Shipper Seasons will bring a whole new meaning to shipper fan fiction and will be able to fill that gap that so many of us shippers were left with when the show concluded its run.

So, sit back and relax and journey into the heart of the Shipper Seasons, where the show may have ended but the Xena legacy and more importantly, the undeniable bond between Xena and Ares, lives on!

» We will beginning the next airing on November 18 and will be airiing episodes every two weeks. We feel that if we have the eps set to air bi-weekly rather than weekly, perhaps we will do better at getting eps done on time. This is our hope, anyway. ;-) Spoilers and loglines (on the ep guide page) for the first for episodes have been posted so you can check out what we have planned. Stay tuned!

» Also, a new section to the site has been added: wallpapers. I have decided to create some wallpapers that represent aspects of our seasons. I've only done 4 so far but I do plan to add more as time goes on. If you have an idea for a wall that you'd like to see then drop us a line and I'll see what I can do. Or if you would like to create wallpapers of your own that depict aspects of our seasons, let us know and we'll let you know how you can send it to us.

» I figure it's about time for an update. We don't yet know when exactly we'll be starting up again, perhaps in December, perhaps in January--we've not made a definte decision on that yet. But I just wanted to post an update so all of you know that we are working on something. :-) I do hope to start updating the episode guide page and the spoilers page once we know defintely how the eps are going to pan out.

» Well, it's been a while since there's been any update. We plan to start the airing within a month or so (no definte decision has been made yet) but we will let you know once we've decided. I also plan on adding spoilers at some point soon so keep checking back for updates.

Unleashed
When Ares agrees to take Darion on an outing for his tenth birthday, the event becomes a lot less joyous after Ares' past unexpectedly comes back to haunt him resulting in a day that Darion nor anyone else are likely to forget.

» So everyone knows, we will be taking at least a 10 week break before we begin airing new episodes. This break, we hope, will allow us to get some eps written so that we can air on a more regular basis than every month. :-D We will probably start again in late October. Changes to the airing schedule will be updated on the schedule page. Continue to check the site periodically as there will be updates regurding upcoming eps in the weeks to come. Thanks for your continued devotion to this site. We all appreciate it. :-)

» Well, after being down for several days, the site seems to be up and running again. That's good news. :-D

» About ep 8--yes, we are still working. I really can't say when it will be here, all I know is it will be soon. I'm hoping but no later than this weekend, probably sooner. Please be patient, everyone. Other things just keep getting in the way. We are working on it though, and we are very close, but we just need a little more time. Stay tuned.

» An update: we've been having a few difficulties with the script for "Take Two" and we're still working on it. We're sorry for all the delays but unexpected problems with the script keep coming up. We've got a handle on it now, though and so we expect to have it ready within the next few days. Please stay tuned!
