In April of 2001, several months before Xena ended, a group of online friends decided to get together and start a new virtual season of XWP once the show wrapped up and the credits rolled for the last time. The plan was to have the focus be on Xena and Ares because we were all shippers and felt that their relationship was not finished during the course of the show and we wanted to take their relationship in the direction that it deserved to be taken in. We also felt that Xena and Gabrielle had more adventures to embark upon and that Xena's death in Jappa was not going to be her final stand. Thus, the Shipper Seasons were born and the Xena/Ares relationship was destined to continue on.

So, for those die-hard shipper fans out there who feel that Xena and Ares were meant for one another and that Xena still had more lives to live, despite the way the show ended, then this site is just for you. The Shipper Seasons will bring a whole new meaning to shipper fan fiction and will be able to fill that gap that so many of us shippers were left with when the show concluded its run.

So, sit back and relax and journey into the heart of the Shipper Seasons, where the show may have ended but the Xena legacy and more importantly, the undeniable bond between Xena and Ares, lives on!

	An update: it's been really hectic this past week and "Take Two" has been pushed back to June 12th (which will hopfully be the last delay). I will post the promo and logline today or in the next few days. We apologize for all the delays. Stay tuned!

	Well after the slighlty long delay, the new episode "Grey Areas" has now arrived!! Grey Areas When Xena and Gabrielle return to Amazon Lands for Lykia's initiation they find that trouble is brewing between the Amazons and a group of villagers--a conflict that could mean war. Meanwhile, Lykia deals with becoming an Amazon, hoping that as one, she will be able to calm the rage within her soul. Reviews for "Set In Stone" have been added also.

	Sorry for not updating in a week. I've been pretty busy. Anyway, "Grey Areas" is scheduled to hopfully air this weekend or sometime next week, probably mid week.

April 15, 2005
	The next episode "Grey Areas" will air around this weekend we're hoping. The promo has been posted for it. And as you will notice, the order of the eps has been slightly changed. We will be doing "Grey Areas", "Take Two" and then "A Day Like Any Other" and that will finish up this airing before we go on hiatus. Mini collages and loglines for the last two eps of this airing will be posted soon.

	Well after the delay, the episode has now arrived!! Set In Stone Xena and Gabrielle go in search of a missing statue that seems to have a past of it's own. When the past involves two angry gods, they must help set things right for the victims involved. Reviews for "What Separates Us Part II" have been added also.

	Episode 4 is now posted! What Separates Us Part II While Xena hovers between life and death, Gabrielle and Eve continue to defend Moesia from the Visigoths while Eve confronts her past and its deadly consequences. Reviews for "What Separates Us Part I" have been added also.

	The next episode, "What Separates Us Part II" will air on March 20th. A promo for the ep has been added to the episode guide. The logline and mini collage for episode 7, "Grey Areas", has been added also.

	Episode 3 is now posted! What Separates Us Part I Xena and Gabrielle join a very unlikely ally in order to protect a colony against familiar invaders and in the process, Ares is faced with the realities of his lover being mortal, bringing to light the barrier that is between him and Xena. Reviews for "Lost and Found" have been added.

February 27, 2005
	The promo for "What Separates Us Part I" has been added. Also added is the logline and mini collage for episode 5, "Set In Stone". The next episode, "What Separates Us Part I", has been postponed and will be airing on March 6. We need a chance to get it ready, as well as working on other upcoming eps so we can hopfully air eps each week from now on.

	Episode 2 is here! Lost and Found When Xena's chakram comes up missing, Xena and Gabrielle are in for a wild adventure when they must retrace their steps in the hopes of reclaiming the Warrior Princess' legendary weapon. Reviews for "Looking Forward" have also been added. 	The premiere is here!! Check it out! Looking Forward In a distant future, Xena, a former space pirate-turned-officer of justice, teams up with an attorney named Gabrielle to stop a pirate raid on a transport caravan. But the success of their mission requires that Xena join forces with Ares, a former ally who is now an adversary. The costume section has been updated to reflect the new costumes for the premiere.

	Some spoilers have been added to the site for the first couple eps of the season. A logline for the premiere, "Looking Foward", has also been added. A promo for the premiere will be added soon.

	Happy New Year, everyone!! And with the new year, I felt it was time to give this site a new look since the new season will be starting in a little over a month from now. There have been some new things added to the site so take a look around. A costume section has been added and includes a new costume for Gabrielle and Eve. Ryan has created a great opening credits video that you can view and download off of the episode guide pages. It's really cool. :-) So, hope you all enjoy the new look and be sure to stick around for the premiere of season 9, February 13th!! This site is dedicated to the memory of Kevin Smith. He passed away February 16, 2002 due to head injuries from an unfortunate accident in China. He will be greatly missed by his family, his friends, and thousands of his loyal fans but he will remain in our hearts and our thoughts forever. We loved you, Kevin!
